
He has been involved in advising governments, multinational oil companies and project developers on diverse contractual regulatory and policy issues.


Ngozi is regularly involved in arbitrations locally and internationally and is part of the team that successfully represented a major Nigerian oil Company in two rounds of multi-party arbitrations (involving four international oil companies and a Nigerian oil and Gas regulator) in a dispute regarding an expert’s decision on the redetermination of equity rights in an offshore oilfield. She consistently acts as arbitration counsel, has served as Tribunal Registrar in an arbitration involving a National Ministry and a Nigerian oil services Company and recently successfully defended a client in two rounds of litigation in a matter pertaining to the setting aside of an arbitral award arising from a Unitization Agreement. Ngozi has authored several articles on various topics in Nigerian arbitration and frequently speaks at industry events.
The International Financial Law Review (IFLR1000) rates Ngozi as a rising star in Project finance for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
