AELEX is pleased to announce the elevation of Mr. Ishaya Amaza to the role of Senior Associate in the firm.
Ishaya Amaza holds an LL.M in Petroleum Law & Policy which he obtained from the prestigious University of Dundee, United Kingdom. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2008 and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, the International Bar Association and the Energy Institute.
Ishaya is a member of the Firm’s Energy and Natural Resources Practice Group and he advises stakeholders involved in the various segments of the energy and natural resources sectors in Nigeria. He has advised clients on the acquisition of upstream assets and investment projects, energy transactions, and power purchase agreements. He has authored several publications which are published in the International Energy Law Review and other notable journals.
