ǼLEX Annual Lecture
The ǼLEX lecture series was inaugurated in 2005 to commemorate the founding of our practice which has since grown to become a full service law firm with offices in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Accra, Ghana.
Since the commencement of our lectures, our distinguished speakers have spoken on very topical issues:
ǼLEX 8th Annual Lecture
ǼLEX held its 8th Annual Lecture titled “This House Must Not Fall: Constitutional Reform and The People’s Will” at the AGIP Recital Hall, MUSON Centre on Wednesday 25th July, 2012.
The guest speaker at the lecture was Dr. Ali A. Mazrui, an Albert Schweitzer Professor in the Humanities and Director of the Institute of Global Cultural Studies, Binghamton University, New York and former distinguished Research Professor, University of Jos, Nigeria.
The event was chaired by The Honourable Justice Kayode Eso; LL.D, CON, a retired Justice of the Supreme Court.
Dr. Haroun Adamu, a renowned academic and veteran journalist and a member of the 1989 Constitutional Conference, Dr. Ayo Teriba, the chief executive officer of Economic Associates (EA) and member of the National Economic Intelligence Committee (NEIC) and Ms. Annkio Briggs, a prominent activist from the Niger Delta and Founder/President, Agape Birthrights Organization discussed the issues arising from the lecture.
